British Bands

Many British bands have been legends of music. British bands such as The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Clash, and Pink Floyd are considered gods of rock music, influencing generations everywhere. These British bands have not only brought about a huge amount of respect towards British music and musicians, but have established the United Kingdom as one of the most influential music centers in the world.

British bands have done much to add to every genre of music, but have been mostly associated with having influenced rock music. The innovations in music brought forth by British bands have arguably done more to change the musical world than anyone else in the 20th century. This is a huge statement to make considering the fact that rock music began in the United States ñ yet British bands have complimented American-made music in a way that makes most American rock fans almost forget that British bands are from the other side of the world. This is the ultimate compliment to British bands, as their innovations in music are now considered mainstream ñ and they are not categorized as purely British music legends, but are looked at as legends of all music.
